spring program registration is open!
We are offering seven group classes this spring!
Classes will be held for six weeks on the following dates:
May 2, 9, 23, 30, June 6, 13.
Location: Martin Luther University College (Laurier’s Waterloo Campus)
Cost: $20 / student
*Registration is open to current CMSWR students who are already enrolled in the program. Please note we are not offering individual lessons this spring.
Program Options:
Ukulele Ensemble
Time: 9:30am-10:15am
Ages: 6-11 (Grade 1-5)
Teacher: Jennifer
Details: Have you ever wanted to play the ukulele? Or do you want to improve your ukulele skills? This is your chance! No experience necessary, ukuleles will be provided.Music & Movement
Time: 10:15am-11:00am
Ages: 4-5 (JK/SK)

Details: This is a continuation of our Music & Movement class - open to all kindergarten students. We’ll be singing, dancing, and playing instruments together!Piano I - FULL (register for the waiting list)
Time: 9:30am-10:15am
Ages: 6+ (Grade 1+)

Details: Perfect for beginner students who want to build on the skills they’ve been learning this year! We’ll be working on note naming, rhythms, and simple songs. Ideal for students studying in the Primer Level (purple) Piano Adventures book. Open to current piano students only.Piano II
Time: 10:15am-11:00am
Ages: 8+ (Grade 3+)

Details: Perfect for our next level piano students who are comfortable with note naming and rhythm. Ideal for students studying in the Level 1 (red) or Accelerated Level 1 (brown) Piano Adventures books. Open to current piano students only.Piano III
Time: 11:00am-11:45am
Ages: 10+ (Grade 5+)

Details: Perfect for our students who have been playing for a little while and are confident in reading/sight-reading music. Open to current piano students only.(Rock) Band
Time: 10:00am-11:00am
Ages: Grade 7+

Details: Teens will be learning a variety of songs, exploring different genres. Open to students studying all instruments. Please bring your instrument! This class is a great opportunity to explore your own creativity and voice.Vocal Ensemble
Time: 11:00am-12:00pm
Ages: Grades 1-6
Teachers: Isabell & Emmanuel
Details: Vocal Ensemble is open to all CMSWR students, regardless of what instrument they are studying! We’ll be exploring a variety of genres and learning how to shape/develop our singing voices.
