Music Class

SUMMER CAMPS

We are excited to be offering our first-ever summer camps!

This year, to ensure the safety of our campers and staff, all camps will be offered virtually. All that is required is access to a computer or tablet for the duration of camp. Other materials will be provided.

Each camp session will offer unique content. Campers may register for one week or, if space allows, more than one week. Registration is open to current CMSWR participants and their siblings.

1. MUSIC MAKERS - Ages 6-9

  • Date: July 12-16

  • Time: 9:30am-12noon

  • Cost: $20

Campers have the opportunity to participate in a variety of musical activities, games, crafts, dance, and singing. Perfect for beginner and young musicians alike.

2. TV/MOVIE MUSIC - Ages 10-13

  • Date: July 12-16

  • Time: 1:30pm-4:00pm

  • Cost: $20

Explore some of the greatest music ever made! Music plays such a key role on the screen and a soundtrack can make or break our viewing experience. Join us as we explore iconic musical themes from TV and film. This session is perfect for campers with some prior musical skills (can read music, have an understanding of their instrument). Opportunities for both individual skill development and collaboration with others.

3. CREATIVE CAMPERS - Ages 6-11

  • Date: July 19-23

  • Time: 9:30am-12:00noon

  • Cost: $20

Campers will have the opportunity to explore a variety of arts disciplines, including (but not limited to) music, visual art, dance, and musical theatre. Perfect for both beginner and experienced musicians. This session will include a mix of large group and smaller group activities.

4. DIGITAL MUSIC CREATION - Ages 12-16

  • Date: July 19-23

  • Time: 1:30pm-4:00pm

  • Cost: $20

There has never been a more exciting time to create music. Using a variety of digital tools, we can create our own backing tracks, drum beats, sound effects, and even full bands! We are able to write and record our own music. The sky is the limit to what we can create. Participants will have the opportunity to develop a working knowledge of these tools, create individual projects, and collaborate as a group.
